Loot & rare weapons

Every naturally spawned monster you slay rolls four drop tiers, independently - an extremely lucky kill can pay out from several at once:

TierFeelWhatโ€™s in it
โšช CommonRegularSupplies, materials, food - and the gear sets
๐Ÿ”ต RareA nice surpriseIngots, iron equipment, oddities, Bloomguard pieces, lesser named blades
๐ŸŸฃ EpicA very good dayDiamonds and diamond gear, the Lucky set, greater named weapons
๐ŸŸก MythicalThe whole server hearsNetherite, blades of Majestica, the Aether Diadem

A mythical find goes straight into your inventory (spilling at your feet only if your pack is full), plays you a fanfare of your own - and announces your name and your prize to everyone online.

Where you hunt matters. The wilderness never yields mythical drops - those fall only in the Aether (all rates half again higher there) and on expeditions, where the linkโ€™s intensity raises every rate: calm a little, chaotic more, erratic doubles them. The full catalogue lives in the serverโ€™s public gear and loot-table listings.

(Stats and exact chances are the serverโ€™s secret. Rarer weapons are much rarer drops.)

The common gear pool

Ordinary monsters carry more than junk now. Every naturally spawned kill has a small chance to drop a piece of gear from the common pool - five dyed sets and one tool, all equally likely:

SetEach piece givesFull-set extra
๐ŸŒฟ Dryadโ€™s (green)Healing every few seconds in forested biomesStack all four for serious regen
โ›๏ธ Prospectorโ€™s (tan)Chance for ores to drop doubleBonus double-ore chance
๐Ÿน Hunterโ€™s (olive)+0.5 damage to your arrows and thrown weapons-
๐ŸฅŠ Pugilistโ€™s (crimson)Reduced fall damage-
๐Ÿ”ฎ Warlockโ€™s (violet)Food in your belly at nightSkeleton-kind ignore you entirely

Plus the Prospectorโ€™s Pick - an iron pick, tougher than it should be, with its own double-ore chance that stacks with the armor.

The catches: the sets protect between leather and iron, every bonus stacks per piece (go full Dryad, or mix and match), and none of it can ever be repaired - no anvil, no grindstone, no tricks. When it breaks, go hunting again. All of it sits on the common tier, so it flows steadily to anyone who fights.

Monsters also occasionally drop gold nuggets - the Goldsmith pays a gold each.

Rare armor

Monsters drop more than blades. Alongside pieces like the Bloomguard set and the twilight plates, keep an eye out for the green glint of the Lucky set - clover-dyed gear with iron-grade protection whose real power is greed:

PieceBonus while worn
Lucky Helmet+10% XP & gold
Lucky Chestplate+20% XP & gold
Lucky Leggings+15% XP & gold
Lucky Boots+10% XP & gold

Wear the full set and everything you do pays +55% - every XP source, and the gold monsters drop. Iron-strength armor means you trade a little protection for a lot of fortune. Each piece is a world drop (from naturally spawned monsters, anywhere - even the Aether), and a rare one.

The rules of the blade

  • Level requirements are real. Swing a weapon above your level and it simply refuses - no damage, no effect. Level up and it will answer.
  • Drops come only from naturally spawned hostiles - of course.
  • Weapons are normal items otherwise: trade them, gift them, lose them in lava and weep. Weapon and armor enchants are fixed: enchanting tables and anvils cannot add more, and grindstones cannot strip the ones they were made with.
  • Named custom weapons cannot be renamed. Gear you forge from minerals mined in the Abyss is the exception: it can be renamed, enchanted, combined, and stripped just like an ordinary tool.
  • On-hit powers roll per landed hit - listen and watch for the procs.

More blades may appear over time. If a village elder starts selling one, you didnโ€™t hear it from us. ๐ŸŒธ
